NAP: Return of Savage 6

(Act 6)

As the light surrounded both Pew and Betemesis, the images of familiar memories from their lives were shown with Betemesis opening her now pupiless red eyes as she noticed.

Betemesis: Pew?

Pew: Betemesis...

She hugged him a bit.

Betemesis: I thought you were dead!

Pew: I thought you were gone as well...but how could you?

She started realizing as the memory of present time Pew's final conversation being shown.

Pew: How could you disobey my orders?

Betemesis looked down as the image of Pew killing Smollett was shown.

Betemesis: (frowns) Well how could you kill someone who's also one of our friends?

Pew: (sounds bitter) You called me a monster.

Betemesis: (depressed) And you called me useless.

Pew: (snaps) I still can't believe you, out of all people, would rather listen to someone like that suspicious Toffee rather than the person you were bonding with!

Betemesis: He told me it was a surprise!

Pew: And what would have happened if it turned out you were dead!? Huh? Or worse: Lyric being your mate!!

Betemesis: (glares) At least I don't backstab and betray people like you almost killing your own trusted friends!

Pew then held her arm roughly.

Pew: I'm a pirate! Pirates fight!

Betemesis: They trusted you and you turned against them!

Pew: Hawkins would not have seen my attack coming!

Betemesis: He would have killed you! And if that happened, I-

Pew: The boy betrayed us and killed you on purpose-

Betemesis: And Jane killed you back then because you were out of control-

Pew: (shedding tears/snaps) I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!!

She started realizing as did Pew, the two looking at one another in tears as the blind rat held her.

Pew: (sadly) No...I can't...I can't lose you again, Betemesis...no...I...

She looked at the blind rat, patting him with a smile before kissing his lips.

Betemesis: (sighs) Pew...I lost you in the past...I thought you died in the timeline I lived...

Pew: (solemly) I'm sorry I called you "useless".

Betemesis: And I'm sorry I said you were a "monster". You're not a monster...(hugs him) You aren't...

Pew felt some pieces of her clothing breaking, realizing before using his robe to cover the cat up quickly.

Betemesis: But...your scars, the ones you-

Pew: (smiles softly) Your dignity is more important than mine...besides...Savage will never come between us...ever again.

He tried looking at her with blind eyes, his vision of her face shown as he touched her cheeks softly.

Pew: Besides...(quietly) I love you...I always had...and I always will.

Betemesis: (smiles) I do too...

Finally, both kissed before everything flashed. When reality was shown, the glow finished before both were on each other's arms, the cat wearing Pew's robe while Clove finally noticed Cassia almost to her knees wearily.

Clove: (concerned) Cassie? What's wrong?

Cassia: I...I don't understand either...unless...

The deers gasped as they realized.

(Flashback)

Cassia: (worried) I don't know about this mission. What if I get sick or something?

Toffee: Not to worry, I have a solution.

He touched her forehead as the two glowed a bit.

Toffee: There, you will be fine until your master finds and takes the object he most desires.

Clove: What did he exactly do?

Allegro: I think he found a temporary solution for her sickness she sometimes gets.

(End Flashback)

Cassia: I think I know what he meant!!

Clove: The object he desires wasn't from the chest...

The prolong deer both looked surprised as they looked at the rat lifting the cat.

Clove: It was from him realizing that...

The Digidestined looked at their devices, surprised a bit.

Matt: So all this time, when Pew died, our crests, D-Terminals, and Digivices went into his heart.

Mimi: They must have fused when Pew was turned into a soul.

Rigby: Dude! That's amazing!!

The violet male weasel finally looked at he rat and cat on the ground.

Nack: Uh Pew? Rat Badger?

Pew: (realizes) Nack...is that you, lad?

He looked seriously as he turned the blind rat's face to him.

Nack: Do you remember...everything?

Pew: Every single memory that I had once lost...(smiles) even of you, Nack.

Nack small smiled warmly before he glomped the rat.

Nack: (sheds a tear) Don't ever do that again, Rat Badger! You had us worried!

Pew: I sense familiar beings that...

He turned to most as Star smiled.

Star: Pew...

Sticks: (teary) What took you so long to remember?!

Cassia: (hugs him/wearily) Pew, don't ever scare us like that again!!

Most hugged with the green dragon happily hugging the two.

Grim Matchstick: You b-b-both remembered, d-d-daddy and mommy!! I'm glad!

Pew: (realizes) Wait...you're the dragon Sarah found?

Betemesis: Grim...you're grown up!!

He smiled and blushed a bit.

Nephthys: (sighs) It's good to have you both back.

Inez: Yeah...even though you DID try to kill us.

Pew: (sighs) Yes...I know...Smollett, you know I did what I had to and gave you a chance.

Smollett: Yes, I appreciate you trying to keep me alive, but I felt my time come back then...plus if I'd let you go through easy, Lyric would have been the one to off me instead.

Jane: And yeah...Coconuts and the others explained so...Jim, the other explorers and I...we're sorry for continuing to put you down, even when you DID prove yourself.

Jim: And when we had to kill you back them...but that was mostly to save whatever sanity and sentience you had.

Pew: Hmm...

He glanced a bit, trying to look at the explorers.

Pew: And Lyric...he has been dealt with?

Mordred: Obviously yes! He's not only lost memories of everything that happened when he was on Treasure Island, but he's been in the Lost Hex ever since before you came. (realizes) Wait...(to Toffee/quietly) You actually got rid of Lyric on purpose?! AND with me alongside him!?

Toffee: (quietly) Lyric would have had a chance to end him and try to remember...not to mention had she appeared when he was still around, his undesirable traits and memories MIGHT have returned.

Mordred: That explains him, but why me?

Toffee: (smirks) Well why else did Cackletta summon him?

Mordred: (face faults) Augh, I knew you two did that on purpose!

The council, meanwhile, looked seriously to the Caretaker and Clockwork.

Hekapoo: So let me get this straight: The entity itself was the true reason for the time and space mishaps?

Clockwork: Yes...however, they were for more noble purposes. The planet itself wanted to fix the mistakes of the time-space continuum and it believed that these people...the Freelancers...knew what to do.

Moon: So what? Does this mean the whole thing's over?

Clockwork: Maybe so, maybe not yet. There are some stories yet to be told.

Caretaker: And their destinies for more adventures have not even begun yet.

Rhombulus: Wait, they get more adventures?!

Caretaker: Most, including Star herself. I foresee her in an adventure involving dragons.

Moon: (worried) But Star-

Caretaker: Will be fine. She will not die.

Clockwork: Yes...time and space are out of control...but if what we have seen is believed...

He pointed to many of them laughing and smiling to Pew and Betemesis.

Clockwork: Perhaps THEY are the keys to bring balance.

The council looked concerned.

Caretaker: Clockwork has a point. Besides...Eclipsa and her daughter's destinies will commence, if done correctly. So perhaps once that happens, you TOO may have a way to repent for your past sins.

Moon: (sighs) I haven't even got a chance to ask if Toffee is still alive. If he isn't...then I'm afraid my sins continue to become bigger...if he is, however...

She looked seriously.

Moon: Then he MUST be stopped at all cost.

Hekapoo: That reminds me...you two know something about Toffee, right?

Clockwork: I wish I could say, but I'm afraid I cannot tell you. Only Baku can.

Caretaker: Now we must leave for our destinies...and please...try to be nicer to the Freelancers. They DID save your homes after all.

Moon: What do you mean?

Caretaker: There is only one last question only your heart can answer: Can you truly call Toffee "evil" for saving your people AND your mother's soul when she asked for a merciful death in his hands?

Finally, both vanished from the council.

Moon: Can I truly...(frowns) Oh what nonsense. Mercy or not, the fact still remains that he DID kill my mother. There should have been another way!!

The immortal members each looked uneasy before Moon realized.

Moon: (shocked) There really wasn't a different way to save my mother then, was there?

Three: (sadly) No.

Lekmet shook his head sadly.

Hekapoo: There was...but the Freelancers didn't exist in our world at that time. AND when we tried going back to those points...it's as if someone or something blocked that particular day, preventing us from changing it.

Rhombulus: Yeah, that and when we tried to do the "day before" bit, we instantly got sucked away back to our timeline by some dumb portal on the day of the incident.

Moon: Oh it doesn't matter...without the Box of Truth, we'll never know if Toffee IS alive.

Hekapoo: Not unless there's someone who can tell who's lying or not.

At that moment, Belasco smirked as he held the scissors.

Belasco: Well, it's been a fun trial, but I have things to do back home in Camelot. So snooze you later, losers! (to his comrades) We're leaving!!

Ridley: Heh, fun while it lasted.

Ludo's Voice: Wait!!

They turned to Ludo and his monsters rushing up as he shouted.

Ludo: Take us back home! My kingdom...it needs me!!

Sir Justice: (glancing) I don't know...why should we?

Ludo: Tell you what? I help you in finding a way to rid Omaddon, I shall ensure you become my new legion. Team Ludo!!

Sedusa: (dryly) Team Ludo? Really?

As Ludo spoke next, the annoyed ones glanced with Hekapoo using her dimensional scissors, opening a portal behind Ludo, his monsters, and the alternate Eggman.

Ludo: So what? It's better than "Team Eggman" or "Egg Bosses". And another thing-

Just then, the yelping foes from Camelot were shoved inside by Ridley and Charizard.

Ridley: AND you're done!!

Moon: I suppose we're all finished. David Morgan?

The disguised Toffee glanced at her.

Moon: You may be sneaky, but I suppose you did a good job on proving a few things.

Hekapoo: (reluctantly) And in any case...

She showed some new dimensional scissors, which floated near Chara, Shantae, Twilight, Fluttershy, Plague Knight, Batula, Star, the two Mordreds, Toffee, Genesis, Betemesis, Grim, Asriel, Nack, Sonic, and Pew, each taking the scissors.

Hekapoo: For your help on fighting against a deranged spirit, consider the Dimensional Scissors your reward. And Rick? Keep the portal gun.

Rick: About ****ing time!

Rasticore: (looks away) So that's it...Rasticore Chaosus Disastorvayne...the last Septarian to live.

Moon: (pauses) You're not the last Septarian.

He looked a bit confused as did Toffee secretly as he glanced.

Moon: Arthur and King Pridemoor's lands STILL have the surviving Septarians...you're not the last, believe me.

He slowly smiled a bit with a chuckle.

Omnitraxus: Yeah, we should have told you that sooner...

Hekapoo: (pauses) So, shall we get going?

Finally, she entered with the other council members.

Moon: Be home soon, Star...we have much to discuss.

Finally, the portal disappeared.

Star: I will when I get a chance.

Toffee: I suppose I should stop pretending to be human now.

Psycho: Yeah, and you looking like Toffee was probably gonna make them question you more, Dexter Fisher.

Some: Huh?

He touched the small button, returning him to Septarian form.

Mr. Bump: GAH! Dexter?! Where the heck have you been?! We needed you badly!!

Rasticore: (glancing) Dexter Fisher?

Toffee: SHHH!! (quietly) A temporary name so no one draws suspicion like my human disguise.

Pew: (realizes/quietly) Oh bloody hell, you sodding-

Nack: Rast, Rat Badger, cool it. He's that guy we first met from the time I got switched in prison by Dominos in that story I was telling you guys about, remember?

The Order members looked a bit unsure.

Toffee: (quietly/to his comrades) Just play along.

Sticks: I don't know...how do we know he won't go homicidal maniac on us and be covered in our blood?

Toffee: Who do you think I am? Ned Flanders?

Sticks: Who?

DeGill: (seriously) Now you know what must be done.

Tai: Yeah...(sighs) DeGill, we're ready for our punishments...

Obi-Wan: Quite correct...our forced resignation and memories erased.

However, the fish smiled a bit.

DeGill: Who said I was going to do that?

Most: Huh?

DeGill: I'm the Admiral, remember? I can change the rules if it's needed. From this day forward...only those deemed worthy with their loved ones shall retain their memories and adventures, as long as they keep their classified information a secret.

He looked at the council members.

DeGill: That is, if you shall agree.

Council: (randomly) Yeah. They did save us. I guess they deserve it.

DeGill: (happily) Then it's official.

He banged the gavel.

DeGill: Case dismissed!

Many cheered with a few stunned a bit.

Orwen: (happily) Oh thank goodness that's settled.

Star: (grins) Yeah!!

Psycho: WOOO!!!

Wander: Oh my gosh, yes! (grins) Hater, you're part of our friendship pals!

Hater: (anger mark) WE ARE NOT FREINDS!!

He angrily chased after Wander with Peepers groaning while Sans grinned.

Peepers & Sans: (speaks together) Some things never change.

Sonic: (grins) So how about we head home to celebrate?

Star: (Chibi smiles) Great! We got all the time in the world.

Rick: Uh no thanks...I'd rather drink back at home. Come on, Morty.

He fired his portal gun before Morty waved bye to them.

Morty: Bye, you guys. See you again.

Finally, the portal with the two vanished.

Muscle Man: (grins) Awesome! (to Long John) Now we can do awesome stuff without getting caught, dude!

Psycho: Coolie! Nezz, let's go and see how Fox Boy and the other bots are doing.

Inez: (concerned) Uh Psy? They uh...disappeared.

She showed a note saying, "Thanks for keeping the mechanics safe. Will take them back to Freddy's. The Freddy's CEOs."

Inez: They came to the mansion last night to get back the machines.

Swiper: Oh dang it! I was hoping we'd get the killing chips out of them.

Lolbit: Maybe next time.

Nic: (realizes) I just remembered something...

Sleet: What are you talking about?

Nic: Since Nack, Psy, Bets, Rast, Grim, Nezz, Rouge, Sarah, and Bat Squirrel were all transmutated each...don't they have the same alchemy based powers as Rat Badger?

As she said that, the blue dragon started wincing and hacking a bit before out from his mouth were the familiar bunch of scissors he swallowed.

Most: Ick.

Benson: Ugh, I wish I could unsee that!

One scissors landed near Rasticore as the Septarian took it.

Rasticore: I guess I may as well see if this works.

He brought out his chainsaw, then clapped his hands before placing the scissors and chainsaw together, both glowing before it flashed, showing the newish shiny semi metallic chainsaw with a diamond ecrusted into it.

Psycho: OMG! That's so amazing!!

Nack: (smirks) Huh, looks like you're not the only circleless alchemist guy anymore, Rat Badger.

Pew: (glancing) Oh for the love of-

Ridley, after giving a secret nod to Charizard, who nodded back, glanced at the gray Septarian with hair as he held out his hand.

Ridley: It was a pleasure having you get us out of that dumb situation, Dexter Fisher was it?

Toffee: My pleasure.

The left hands were shook, though Toffee winced a bit, noticing his hand cut a bit, showing blood dripping.

Toffee: (frowns) Dammit!

Ridley: (acts concerned) Oh sorry about that, Dexter.

As he spoke next, the Charizard took out a napkin with something underneath, unknown to most, before Toffee's hand was wiped with blood soaking on it.

Ridley: My claws ARE pretty sharp, you know.

Toffee: Yes, I see that.

Ridley: It's no problem, considering you lawyers can heal yourselves.

He looked at his hand, which healed itself quickly while the Charizard placed the blood soaked napkin with what appeared to be a bottle of blood as well into its bag.

Sonic: Uh not every lawyer can heal, Ridley.

Shantae: (to Twilight) Don't worry...we'll see if the princesses are still there, then we'll come back, okay?

They hugged a bit with Anakin speaking.

Anakin: That reminds me...maybe I should figure a way to ask Merlin when I see him and mom again.

Padme: Annie...

Eggman: Yes...and I suppose we should be heading off as well. (glares) But next time, the world is mine! ALL MINE!!

Sedusa face palmed with a groan as the foes threw a smoke bomb, the villains quickly vanishing.

Papyrus: THAT ONLY LEAVES HATER AND MY FRIEND WANDER AND THE OTHERS.

DeGill: (to Shadow's group) Uh we'll try to get Hater to stop chasing Wander...why don't you take them home for the time being?

Shadow: I suppose so.

Silver: Right...after all, we could use a bit of rest.

Most: Yeah...

As most began to depart with Team DeGill following after Hater chasing Wander, Asriel looked back at Chara for a bit.

Chara: I'll stay in Camelot until I'm ready to head back.

Asriel: But...but you ARE allowed to stay with us.

Chara: As long as the soul of my father is around, I don't feel safe in this dimension. Even if he is dead, I still feel unsafe here.

Asgore: (smiles) Chara, it's okay...we're here for you.

Toriel: And if you want...you can live here with us.

Chara paused before opening a portal.

Chara: (smiles warmly) Thank you...but I'm afraid I'll have to pass.

Finally, Chara entered with the Harveys As the scissors opened up a new portal, Star looked concerned.

Star: Guys?

Plague Knight: Uh...Star, you can stay if you want...but uh...we need to be somewhere. Someone's waiting.

Harry: Yes, the good doctor IS waiting after all. (to Nadeem's group) Guess this is goodbye then, huh?

Nadeem: (concerned) Who said anything about "goodbyes"? We're going with you.

Shantae: Besides, as long as we now have our own scissors, we can go back home with little time having passed.

Shahra: Yes...I guess my time to find my family will have to wait.

Star looked a bit concerned, then looked back at her friends.

Star: Everyone...I think I'll take them home now...(tries grinning) Besides, I'll be fine, really.

Mr. Bump: But-

She hugged her friends with a tear shedding.

Star: Thank you for everything.

Orwen: (smiles a bit) Star...let's take you home now.

Mordred Rat and Genesis both looked at their counterparts before they sighed a bit.

Mordred Rat: We shall meet again...(warmly) brother.

Pew: As of you...(smirks) brother...

As most everyone was departing, Toffee looked at his comrades as he spoke.

Toffee: I suppose I shall take you all home. May as well...it HAS been quite a day.

Rasticore, meanwhile, tested the chainsaw which made a portal, peeking through it before looking back, the portal closing.

Rasticore: He-he-he-he...sir, we can go home now...we can go back! (grins) We can-

Toffee: No.

Rasticore: (stunned) What?! No? But I thought-

Toffee: (seriously) As long as Queen Moon still has her grudge on me, I don't think it's safe for me to return back to Mewni...not yet anyway.

Rasticore: Toffee...

As most departed, Ridley only stopped for a moment, smirking a bit with a chuckle.

Ridley: Trust me...it'll be for what we all desired...Toffee!!

The reptile with hair realized as the portal closed, looking at where Ridley was once at, then glared.

Toffee: (glares) Something is off...Ridley, what ARE you planning?

Rasticore: General?

The Septarian looked at his soldier as the green reptile touching his comrade's shoulder led him to where the other Team Pew members waited.

Toffee: Nevermind right now...let's go home...all of us.

As they were seen departing, Pew and Betemesis held hands before smiling to one another before the scene froze. As the ending song was heard with credits rolling, it showed the Freelancers returning home with loved ones hugging and cheering.

Yume no tsudzuki wo mi ni kono hane hirogete mou ichido sora e ano kaze ni notte iku yo (We will spread these wings and ride on that wind to the sky once again to see the continuation of our dream)

It then showed many of them talking, a few making arm motions while speaking to the families while Nack looked at his grandfather with concern as the scientist only ate his dinner.

Taemanaku kikoeta kimi no sono koe ga yume no hikari tomoshitanda (That voice of yours that I heard without a pause ignited the light of our dream)

Next, it showed the familiar two treasure chests landing on the ground where the Freelancers were at with Trelawney and Meowth stunned.

Ano toki wa hateshinaku tooku kanjita yo (Those times were endless and felt so faraway)

The two looked inside, then gasped in amazement, the duo pointing as they shouted while they noticed, looking stunned.

Kaidan no saki ni aru jidai wa ima koko kara hajimarunda (The era beyond the stairs starts from now on)

Most each looked at the treasures of Savage and Flint being poured out, everyone cheering while money was tossed around, the crowd grinning a bit while Long John grinned to Swiper being hugged by his family before being pulled into the hug, smiling warmly as the couples smiled to one another.

Nani mo nai sora wo tobimawaru miru keshiki ga chigatte mieru (We will fly around the skies of nothingness, seeing sceneries in a different way)

At that moment, Sarah looked at the green dragon before both hugged a bit, the two looking at their friends happily dancing with the found treasure being tossed around.

Meanwhile, back in Camelot's world, Moon with the Magical High Commission looked a bit concerned, looking back at the crystalized Eclipsa with Moon looking a bit depressed, the magical beings trying to grin to her.

At a huge castle, Ludo was sitting on a throne with many pillows as Belasco was shown showing paper ideas to the grinning bird monster with Buff Frog skeptical.

The fat man then showed some unseen documents with Ludo hopping up, both shaking hands with determined looks.

At Camelot itself, Shantae looked amazed at the town filled with many people, including a few shadowed Septarians, Orwen with the other seven alternate Harveys leading the newcomers with Chara slowly following, looking back sadly.

As he did, he felt Nadeem pat him before the genie rabbit slowly grinned, Chara sighing with a small sad smile before the two followed.

With Ridley, he with the rat Mordred, Charizard, Creeper, and Genesis glanced at Toffee's blood in bottle, the magic users using a book with yarn on it as the area began glowing a bit. Afterward, the area stopped glowing before they uncovered their eyes.

When they glanced back, they saw something unseen by us with most grinning and Genesis holding Mordred to look at the unseen figure.

Back in Canterlot, Rick and Morty appeared before landing on the ground. As they did, they saw the students departing their classes while an unseen teacher showed a "Failure" on Morty's report, making him groan while Rick, annoyed, pulled him away. As they departed, they passed by Sunset angrily talking to some other bullies as they prepared to jump and fight. Back in Nack & Psycho's dimension, Discord secretly watched the Freelancers partying, smirking before he quickly vanished from the place, then reappeared in the shadows, joining them in his Gordon disguise.

That night, at Central Park, Team Toffee began heading to the back of the Order of Ixis hideout with Toffee removing the glasses, smirking to his comrades as Cassia was carried with Clove while Pew smiled to Betemesis, him giving the familiar medallion back to her neck as she grinned.

Finally, as most were inside, Pew and Betemesis kissed. Then, they followed their comrades inside, the two held hands, before the door closed before we pan to the night sky with stars twinkling.
